BOSASO — At least three people were killed, and six others were wounded in a landmine explosion in the coastal town of Bosaso in the Bari region on Tuesday afternoon.
According to residents, the incident occurred at a small tea shop in the Tuurta neighbourhood of Bosaso.
Puntland security forces frequent the area, and officials have accused both al-Shabab and ISIS of being behind the recent explosions in Bosaso.
This explosion occurred a day after security agencies and leaders of the Bari region convened to address the rising number of incidents in the area.
