​Puntland officially launches unified national certificate examinations

​GAROWE — ​The Vice President and Acting President of Puntland State, Honorable Ilyas Osman Lugatoor, officially inaugurated the 2026 national certificate examinations in Garowe today, Saturday, marking a significant structural milestone for thousands of students across the regional state.

The academic examinations witnessed the enrollment of 25,221 candidates from both middle and secondary school levels across various regions of Puntland, amidst well-coordinated organizational arrangements designed to ensure an efficient and peaceful examination process.

​According to a news report broadcast by Radio Galgaduud, the official launch ceremony took place in the presence of senior state government officials, alongside prominent educational leaders, school administrators, and members of academic faculties.

Following an inspection tour of the examination halls, the Acting President extended his best wishes to the students, praising the dedication, discipline, and academic resilience they demonstrated throughout their educational journeys despite ongoing development challenges.
