The official results confirm a nation’s new hope

JOWHAR — The Somali National News Agency (SONNA) reported that the Federal Ministry of Education in the Republic of Somalia announced yesterday evening the results of the 2024-2025 high school certificate examinations during an official ceremony held in the city of Jowhar, the capital of Hirshabelle state.

The agency (SONNA) quoted official figures stating that the number of students who sat for the exam was 38,471. Of these, 32,714 passed, while 5,757 did not succeed, recording a high success rate compared to previous years.

The Somali National News Agency (SONNA) also added in its report that Aisha Adan Ogas Hursi from the (SOS) school in Mogadishu topped the list of high achievers with a score of 91.99%, followed by Khalid Abdirnur Hussein from the (Markabley) school in Jubaland state with a score of 91.93%.

Furthermore, (SONNA) stated that the Ministry praised the outstanding students, their families, and their teachers, affirming that the results reflect the continuous improvement in the educational process. The Ministry stressed that curriculum development and enhancing the quality of education are top priorities for the next phase.
