KSrelief continues support for Somalia’s national blood bank

MOGADISHU — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues to support the operation of the National Blood Bank in Mogadishu, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance health services in the country.

According to data from the center, 904 individuals benefited from the blood bank’s services during July 2025. The breakdown of beneficiaries shows that males constituted 92% and females 8%.

The data also revealed that internally displaced persons accounted for 22% of the total beneficiaries, while residents made up the remaining 78%.

This project is part of the humanitarian and relief aid provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, with the goal of assisting those in need and those affected by crises worldwide.
