MOGADISHU — Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) Deputy Chairperson Dr. Ahmed Abdi Adan, on Thursday participated in a highly productive meeting organized by the Somalia Cash Consortium which convened distinguished humanitarian aid agencies across the country.
The conference was graced by representatives from donors, UN agencies, local NGOs, SCC members, federal and regional government officials, and eminent civil society organizations.
The key agenda of the meeting was to discuss and find ways to optimize the delivery of funds to the vulnerable Somali people in the event of disasters.
Dr. Ahmed expressed his gratitude towards the SCC for its commendable humanitarian efforts in the country.
He highly appreciated the research presented and assured that SoDMA will continue to work in close collaboration with aid agencies to serve the Somali people efficiently.
