Jubaland forces rescue stranded flood victims

JAMAME — Jubaland troops have rescued families, mostly women and children, who were stranded for two days due to flooding in Jamame me district.

Federal MPs, Jubaland Ministers, politicians, senior advisors, and other officials have traveled to the northern areas of the Lower Juba region, especially the areas under Jamame district where many families have been isolated.

The army, using boats and drones, rescued families who were isolated in the areas that were severely affected by the floods.

Officers from various branches of the Jubaland Army played a major role in rescuing the stranded survivors.
