KSrelief launches Eid Al-Fitr Zakat distribution project in Somalia

MOGADISHU — King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center launched today the Eid Al-Fitr Zakat Distribution Project in Somalia.

KSrelief distributed 22,857 bags of rice weighing 458 tons in Galkayo city, Puntland State and Hargeisa city, Somaliland, benefiting 137,142 individuals.

Minister of Endowment and Religious Affairs of Somaliland Sheikh Khalil Abdillahi Ahmed praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s stand by Somaliland, extending thanks to KSrelief for delivering Saudi Arabia’s aid to countries around the world, including Somalia.

Zakat Al-Fitr distribution project comes after completing the Ramadan food baskets distribution project, which benefited 20,620 families.
