MOGADISHU — Galmudug state Ministry of Agriculture in collaboration with the federal ministry of Agriculture has launched a plan to combat locusts in the area.
The initiative also aims to fight against the locusts which landed on crops and destroyed animal pasture in generally.
Various farmers and pastoralists have called on the federal government to address the complaints of farmers, alleging the problem of locusts that have landed in large areas of the country in recent months.
