MOGADISHU — Dalsan Local Radio has reported that the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Higher Learning of the Federal Government of Somalia will today announce the national examination results for Grade 12 students for the 2024/2025 academic year. This move marks a significant achievement in the country’s educational journey, as the results will be unveiled at an official ceremony held in the city of Jowhar, the capital of Hirshabelle State.
According to information obtained by Dalsan Radio, this is the first time national exam results have been announced outside the capital, Mogadishu, underscoring the federal government’s commitment to promoting decentralization and national unity.
Over 39,000 students from 140 examination centers across the country are awaiting these results, which serve as an essential gateway to higher education and future career paths.
Officials from the Ministry of Education confirmed to Dalsan Radio that the announcement process will be transparent and reliable, as part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to ensure integrity following challenges faced in previous years’ exams.
The selection of Jowhar as the host city is a powerful symbol of the government’s policy to unify the education sector and extend state services to all regions.
The unified national examination system, established in 2015, has contributed significantly to standardizing curricula and enhancing the international credibility of Somali qualifications.
The announcement ceremony will be attended by senior government officials, state representatives, members of the education sector, and student delegations.
