UAE delivers 26 tons of humanitarian aid to Somalis suffering from drought

MOGADISHU — United Arab Emirates has delivered 26 tons of Humanitarian Aid to Somalia today on Friday, as part of the drought relief program, SONNA reported.

The aid packages contained nutritious food and medical aid.

Minister of Humanitarian affairs and Disaster Management and chairlady of the National Drought Relief Committee, H.E Khadija Mohamed Diriye, and other ministers were seen at Aden Adde International Airport to receive the relief packages.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has already pledged to help Somalis affected by the recent drought in southern and central Somalia.
