​Banadir region announces middle school examination schedule

​MOGADISHU — ​The Directorate of Education of Banadir Regional Administration announced yesterday, Saturday, the official approved schedule for the unified national middle school certificate examinations (Grade 8) for the academic year 2025/2026.

​As reported by the Somali National News Agency (SONNA) in its official coverage, all necessary technical and logistical arrangements have been completed to conduct the examination process on schedule, while implementing strict measures to ensure transparency and equal academic opportunities.

The statement, broadcasted via the Somali National News Agency (SONNA), clarified that the national examination cycle for the intermediate certificate will officially commence on June 15, with testing sessions scheduled to continue across various centers over 4 consecutive days, concluding on June 18 of the same month.

The regional educational authority within the directorate issued a supportive educational call urging students, parents, teachers, and school administrators to intensify mutual efforts and provide the necessary academic and psychological preparation to ensure the successful execution of this milestone.

The directorate concluded its statement by extending its warmest wishes to all male and female candidates across Banadir districts for outstanding academic performance, hoping they achieve commendable results that satisfy their future educational aspirations in the country.

The timely release of the intermediate examination timetable by the Banadir Education Directorate underscores the local administration’s commitment to maintaining structural continuity and governance within Mogadishu’s schooling system.
