MOGADISHU — Within her intensive diplomatic efforts to mitigate climate crises, Somalia discussed emergency response mechanisms with the international community to confront the repercussions of drought. H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, the Prime Minister, consulted with the leadership of the International Rescue Committee (IRC) on ways to enhance relief interventions and provide a lifeline for millions across various regions.
The Prime Minister received David Miliband, President of the International Rescue Committee (IRC), in his office today for a meeting focused on coordinating joint relief efforts to address the drought crisis facing Somalia, as reported by the Somali National News Agency (SONNA).
