Ethiopian troops donate Ramadan food supplies to vulnerable families in Gedo

BAARDHEERE —  Ethiopian troops deployed under African Union Support and Stabilization Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM) spread kindness and generosity this Ramadan to vulnerable families in Gedo region’s Bardheere city, with donations of food supplies, including sugar, spaghetti, flour, cooking oil, and dates.

On the occasion, Battalion Commander Colonel Molla Shumet emphasised the troops’ commitment to both security & humanitarian support, as reported by AUSSOM’s social media team.

Baardheere District Commissioner Ismail Sheikh Abdi thanked the #ENDF troops, saying, “In addition to ensuring peace, you have also proven your humanitarian support to the community. We are very grateful for your timely donations.”
