Feds and Hirshabelle discuss stabilization efforts

MOGADISHU — Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Salah Ahmed Jama, chaired a meeting focused on stabilizing the Hirshabelle regions, which was also attended by the President of the Hirshabelle State, Ali Gudlawe Hussein.

This meeting, which was centered on the delivery of basic services and the evaluation of ongoing projects in the Hirshabelle regions, discussed the importance of the stabilization program and addressing the needs of the people freed from the burden of AS.

The President of Hirshabelle provided the government with a report on his recent visit to most of the regions of Hirshabelle, which he described as an assessment of the situation of the people in the liberated areas.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the government is prioritizing providing essential services to the people, such as education, healthcare, clean water, and the establishment of district administrations and security sectors.
