HARGEISA — Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi received the Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and Humanitarian Coordinator, Mr. George Conway, along with senior officials from ten UN agencies, at his office in Hargeisa.
The meeting focused on strengthening the development aid provided by UN agencies to Somaliland and accelerating cooperative efforts, particularly in humanitarian affairs planned for this year, following international regulations.
The President urged the heads of various government ministries and UN agencies to work together with mutual understanding and in compliance with international laws.
Accompanying the President at the meeting were several ministers from his administration.
The UN delegation included representatives from various UN agencies.
