A Saudi relief official meets with Somali president’s special envoy for drought

RIYADH — Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, yesterday on the sidelines of the third Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum, met with Somali President’s Special Envoy for Drought and Humanitarian Affairs Abdirahman Abdishakur.

During the meeting, the two sides went over issues related to humanitarian and relief affairs and aspects of humanitarian work in Somalia, and discussed issues listed on the agenda of the forum.

Abdishakur referred to the Saudi humanitarian efforts exerted through KSreleif to support humanitarian work and help affected people around the world, praising the good international reputation of the center, and commending the distinguished organization of the forum that hosted specialists from across the world to discuss key issues related to the humanitarian work.
