Unified national secondary exam kicks off across the country

MOGADISHU — The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia H.E Mahdi Mohamed Guled has inaugurated the National Secondary School examinations in all regions of the country today on Saturday, SONNA Reported.

Speaking to the media, Deputy Prime Minister commended the students from all regions to do their best, wishing them success in their examination.

“It is a great honor for us to open, and distribute national exam for the students while observing key measures to prevent the pandemic disease of COVID-19”, Mr. Guled said.

On his part, Minister of Education, Culture and Higher Education of the Federal Government of Somalia Hon. Abdullahi Godah Barre congratulated the students on getting the opportunity to sit the exam, thanking them and their parents for the tolerance of school closure during the COVID-19.

112 centers were allocated for over 34,000 students attending the National Secondary School exam that would last until the 22nd of this month( From Saturday to Wednesday this week).
