Somalia donates $1 Million for the floods affected people

MOGADISHU (SOHA) – The deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia H.E Mahdi Mohamed Guled announced that Federal government of Somalia donated one Million dollars to the people affected by the river floods across the country such as Beledweyne Town, SONNA reported.

Deputy prime minister demanded the Somali people to help each other, in order to survive the lives of those who displaced from the floods affected areas, and he added that this money will play a vital role to the victims of the rival floods in the country.

“We are here today to donate one million dollar to the victims in Beledweyne and we are requesting Somali society to participate the helping our people faces different disaster, including homeless, food shortage, lack of hygiene and others” Mr Guled Said.

Plans carrying Aid reached in Belet-weyn Town, whereby thousands of people have evacuated from river floods, shortly after the countries’ president Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo visited there and demanded Emergency Aid .
