Minister Jamal receives UNICEF representative in his office in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU — The Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Jamal Mohamed Hassan, accompanied by the Director General of the Ministry of Planning, Asad Yusuf, and his advisers, received in his office the Somali Representative to the United Nations Children’s Education Fund (UNICEF-Somalia), Angela Kearney who paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry.

The meeting focused on realizing environmental commitments 2.0, sanitation and sanitation projects in the Benadir region and implementing government-led initiatives on data accuracy and building unity for sustainable development in the country.

Minister Jamaal urged the envoy to strengthen the partnership between the Ministry and UNICEF to strengthen its role in the implementation of the National Development Plan NDP-9.
