Djiboutian government provides food aid to Beledweyne residents

BELEDWEYNE  — The Djiboutian contingent in Hiran region has today provided food aid to the displaced civilians in Beledweyne which have been affected by the recent flooding of the Shabelle River.

Last month floodings in Baledweyne caused and resulted in many communities to flee from their residential homes.

A donation which is equal to 90 tones handed over to the President of Hirshabelle state, Mohamed Abdi Ware and is expected to reach the displaced people outside the city.

Hirshabelle regional president, Mohamed Abdi Ware thanked Djibouti government for the donation and their support in terms of relief, security, and medical equipment to Hiran regional administration and its people.
