Somalia: QC to launch Iftar meal project for the Ramadan

MOGADISHU (SOHA) – The Qatar Charity (QC), one of the development partners in the country, has launched Iftar project which is intended for the Vulnerable people in Mogadishu and other parts of the country,for the purpose of supporting the lives of those fasting during in the Holy month of Ramadan.

An estimated 4500 Families are benefiting from this Iftar project, those are in Mogadishu and other regions in the country,it  is implemented by Qatar Charity in Somalia for helping weak people.

Qatar Charity’s head office in Somalia, Abdinur Haji Ali Mursal, said the Qatar government is committed to continuing its efforts to provide humanitarian relief to the Somali people.

“We are committed to boost the assistance to the Somali society, and now in this month of Ramadan, we have set up centers for Iftaar project for the purpose of helping those Vulnerable people in Mogadishu and other parts of the country, about 4500 families benefit from this”. Said Abdi Nur.

Qatar Charity A Aid Agency based in Doha has been  in Somalia for long time to provide development and relief projects, including care for orphans, Drought, Education sector, Health and many other projects to the people of Somalia.
