مقديشو(صــوهـا) – دعت اللجنة الوطنية لإغاثة متضرري السيول والفيضانات في أنحاء البلاد، أمس الثلاثاء، جميع أطياف المجتمع الصومالي إلى المساهمة في نجدة ومساعدة المنكوبين جراء السيول والفيضانات التي اجتاحت مناطق شاسعة. جاء ذلك عقب أول اجتماع للجنة منذ تشكيلها من قبل رئيس الوزراء حسن علي خيرى، مطلع الأسبوع الجاري.
وترأس اجتماع اللجنة القائم بأعمال رئيس الوزراء الصومالي، ورئيس اللجنة الوطنية لإغاثة متضرري الفيضانات مهدي محمد جوليد، والذي أشار في حديث لوسائل الإعلام المحلية إلى أن اللجنة شكلت أربعة لجان فرعية وهي: لجنة توعية المجتمع وجمع التبرعات، لجنة إدارة التبرعات وجمع البيانات، لجنة المالية والمتابعة ولجنة الخدمات اللوجستية.
ودعا جوليد مكونات المجتمع الصومالي داخل الوطن وخارجه إلى المساهمة في نجدة ومساعدة المتضررين من السيول والفيضانات، موضحا أنه تم إنشاء حسابات في عدة بنوك مصرفية لجمع التبرعات، مذكرا في الوقت ذاته بأن الحكومة الفيدرالية ستساهم بقوة في عملية الإغاثة .
وكانت الحكومة الصومالية عقدت يوم السبت الماضي اجتماعا ضم ممثلين عن المجتمع المدني وعلماء دين، وأسفر عن تشكيل لجنة وطنية مكونة من 22 عضوا لإغاثة متضرري السيول والفيضانات في أرجاء البلاد.
