BAIDOA —<\/strong> Two children have been found dead and their bodies dumped at the outskirts of Baidoa the interim capital of Southwest State.<\/p>\n

The girl and the boy both aged five and six years went missing on April 7 while heading to Quranic school.<\/p>\n

The father of the children Sheikh Aweys Abdullahi a former federal member of parliament has been conducting a search, including visiting hospitals until Thursday morning when the two bodies of the children were found dumped at a thicket.<\/p>\n

A resident who spoke to the media said the children had stab wounds and suspected that their livers removed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe two bodies were dumped and had stab wounds I suspect their livers were removed before they were stabbed to death,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Police in Southwest state have launched a probe into the incident.<\/p>\n
