At least six people were killed Saturday following heavy rains in the city which also led to cancellation of exams slated for Sunday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI am saddened by the incident. The government will help them get back to their normal lives alongside others in the country hit hard by floods,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The PM\u00a0was accompanied by Security Minister, Mohamed Abukar Islow, Mogadishu Mayor, Abdirahman Omar Osman and several other officials.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hundreds of families majority of them being IDPs in different parts of the town were displaced after their homes were inundated by flash floods following the heavy rains.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking to the media, Maryam Hussein Ali, a flood victim said many families in Buluhubay suburb were rendered homeless after their houses were swept away by raging waters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cOur belongings and foodstuff were washed away by floods.
