{"id":7239,"date":"2020-12-24T22:51:33","date_gmt":"2020-12-24T22:51:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sooha.org\/en\/?p=7239"},"modified":"2020-12-31T13:22:43","modified_gmt":"2020-12-31T13:22:43","slug":"salaam-somali-bank-gives-free-microfinance-to-small-traders-in-mogadishu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sooha.org\/en\/2020\/12\/24\/salaam-somali-bank-gives-free-microfinance-to-small-traders-in-mogadishu\/","title":{"rendered":"Salaam Somali Bank gives free microfinance to small traders in Mogadishu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MOGADISHU &#8212;<\/strong> Salaam Somali Bank\u2019s branch in Hamarweyne, Mogadishu has on Thursday provided entrepreneurs with free microfinance, as part of the annual non-profit investment program called \u201cQardu Hassan\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The yearly fund is aimed at developing and encouraging small businesses across Somalia, according to the bank management, which is credited to be the first in the country having incepted in 2009.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Traders, including men and women who got the opportunity, said they\u2019re thankful to Salaam Somali Bank for its timely support, which has helped them grow their businesses faced by challenges.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Salaam Somali bank helped many businesses in the country, most recently in remote districts, where its headquarters provided Qardu Hassan\u2019s investment to small businesses across Somalia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI would like to thank the management and staff of Salaam Somali Bank for their continued support to grow our business.
