KAMPALA —<\/strong> Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi Mohamed Guled and First Lady Zaynab Moalim attended the opening of Ugandan Sugar Factory by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni.<\/p>\n

Dr. Amina Hirsi Mooge, a Somali woman, has made various investments in Uganda and other neighboring countries.<\/p>\n

Uganda\u2019s President Yoweri Museveni has said the plant will create jobs and boost the economy.<\/p>\n

\n

Dr. Amina Hirsi Mooge succeeded in establishing Uganda\u2019s largest sugar factory in Africa, Atiak, which will contribute to the development and economic growth in the Horn of Africa region.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Somali government stands by and is proud of the achievements of the Somali people in business, politics and other spheres of life, both at home and abroad,\u201d said Mahdi Mohamed Guled \u201cKhadar\u201d.<\/p>\n
