JUBBA —<\/strong> The Somalia government has donated humanitarian aid to the people of South Sudan affected by the floods and Rains.<\/p>\n

The donation was raised by the Somali community in South Sudan as part of relations between the countries.<\/p>\n

The Somalia ambassador to South Sudan Amb Hussein Haji Ahmed handed over the donations to South Sudan\u2019s government.<\/p>\n

Amb Hussein has said this donation contained 50 tons of food. South Sudan\u2019s Vice President Hussein Abdul Baqi and members of his cabinet were present at the handover ceremony.<\/p>\n

Somalia\u2019s ambassador to South Sudan has said that the Somali people are saddened by the loss of their brothers and sisters affected by the floods and storms in the country.<\/p>\n

South Sudan is still reeling from the effects of the floods, which have left hundreds of thousands of people homeless.<\/p>\n
