George Conway, the UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator for Somalia, ways to enhance joint cooperation, as reported by the Commission\u2019s Official Facebook Page.<\/p>\n

The high-level meeting focused on formulating the international support mechanisms required for the Commission during its structural founding phase, ensuring it plays its pivotal role in protecting public freedoms and building effective communication with UN systems, according to the Commission’s Official Platform.<\/p>\n

Both sides reviewed plans to develop the Commission’s institutional capacities, focusing on modernizing administrative systems, developing violation monitoring mechanisms, and enhancing the effectiveness of complaint management systems to ensure rapid response and transparency in handling various rights issues.<\/p>\n
