The Somali National News Agency (SONNA) reported that this direct financial support reached 17,734 herders across the country, acting as a proactive measure to address the harsh impacts of drought on the livestock sector, the backbone of the local economy.<\/p>\n

According to sources followed by (SONNA), the funds were transferred directly to beneficiaries to ensure a swift humanitarian response and provide necessary liquidity for herders to rebuild their flocks and protect their dignity.<\/p>\n
