The initiative is funded by the European Union under its Capacity Building in Higher Education program.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the Somali National News Agency (SONNA), the project is a strategic response to existing energy sector challenges, primarily limited access to reliable power and the urgent need to align academic curricula with labor market demands and the global energy transition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">SONNA reported that SIMAD University is coordinating the project in partnership with various African and European academic institutions.
