Prior to the meeting, the team visited Kulmis Health Center in Jowhar to assess the overall public health situation, with particular focus on maternal and child health services.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President Gudlawe expressed his administration\u2019s appreciation for UNICEF\u2019s ongoing humanitarian interventions across Hirshabelle. He reaffirmed the state\u2019s readiness to facilitate the agency\u2019s operations and called for more sustainable programs that build community resilience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As reported by SONNA, the two sides discussed pressing challenges in the fields of health, education, nutrition, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), especially in light of prolonged droughts and internal displacement. Both parties emphasized the need to strengthen coordination at both central and regional levels to improve the impact of humanitarian responses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mr. Nasser Saeed reaffirmed UNICEF\u2019s commitment to supporting vulnerable children and families in Hirshabelle.
