{"id":16711,"date":"2025-05-06T04:53:13","date_gmt":"2025-05-06T04:53:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sooha.org\/en\/?p=16711"},"modified":"2025-05-11T05:04:33","modified_gmt":"2025-05-11T05:04:33","slug":"somalia-humanitarian-fund-reviews-la-nina-allocation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sooha.org\/en\/2025\/05\/06\/somalia-humanitarian-fund-reviews-la-nina-allocation\/","title":{"rendered":"Somalia humanitarian fund reviews La Ni\u00f1a allocation"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"box-inner-p-smaller box-single\">\n<div class=\"entry-header\">\n<div class=\"entry-meta\">\n<div class=\"meta-item meta-rtime\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><strong>MOGADISHU &#8212;<\/strong> In March, the Somalia Humanitarian Fund (SHF) conducted an After Action Review of its La Ni\u00f1a allocation to evaluate its effectiveness in achieving core humanitarian objectives and to gather feedback on the fund\u2019s performance as a financing tool.<\/p>\n<p>The SHF allocation supported Health, Nutrition, and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) interventions in the districts of Afmadow, Diinsoor, and Wanla Weyn.<\/p>\n<p>To facilitate learning and transparency, Somalia\u2019s Humanitarian Financing Unit, of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), convened an informal dialogue with implementing partners to review the outcomes of SHF\u2019s third Reserve Allocation.<\/p>\n<p>Participants discussed challenges, shared best practices, and identified improvements for future allocations.
