{"id":14443,"date":"2024-06-21T22:49:02","date_gmt":"2024-06-21T22:49:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sooha.org\/en\/?p=14443"},"modified":"2024-06-27T14:53:28","modified_gmt":"2024-06-27T14:53:28","slug":"atmis-airlifts-much-needed-national-examination-materials-to-federal-member-states","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sooha.org\/en\/2024\/06\/21\/atmis-airlifts-much-needed-national-examination-materials-to-federal-member-states\/","title":{"rendered":"ATMIS airlifts much needed national exam materials to federal member states"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MOGADISHU &#8212; <\/strong>The African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) has successfully airlifted vital examination materials to over 21 locations, just days before the weeklong National High School Examinations are set to begin this Saturday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This timely operation ensures that all children, even in hard-to-reach areas, can fully participate in the upcoming national exams.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the request of the Ministry of Education, ATMIS Uganda and Burundi utility helicopters transported the exam materials from Mogadishu to four Federal Member States \u2013 Galmudug, Hirshabelle, Southwest, and Jubaland \u2013 as well as the Banadir region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The SRCC and Head of ATMIS, Ambassador Mohamed El-Amine Souef emphasised the mission\u2019s multifaceted role. \u201cWhile our primary mandate is maintaining security, we acknowledge that true peace and stability are built on a foundation of education and human development.
