MOGADISHU — <\/strong>The Ministry of Education, Heritage and Higher Education of the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) has officially announced the schedule for the 12th-grade national examinations for the academic year 2023-2024. The examinations are slated to commence on June 22, 2024, marking a significant milestone in the educational calendar.<\/p>\n

This year, an estimated 37,200 students are poised to take part in the certificate examinations across the nation. The Ministry has emphasized that substantial changes have been implemented in the examination process, including stricter regulations to ensure the integrity of the exams.<\/p>\n

In a statement released by the national media, the Minister of State for the Ministry of Education, Heritage and Higher Education, Noura Mustaf Mukhtar, highlighted the government\u2019s commitment to conducting the examinations for the first time in regions recently liberated from Khawajirta. This move signifies the government\u2019s dedication to expanding educational opportunities to all corners of the country.<\/p>\n
