Strengthening our governmental institutions is crucial for providing the services our citizens need for lasting peace.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Prime Minister also addressed regional tensions, specifically criticizing Ethiopian territorial claims, signalling potential threats to peace. &#8220;Ethiopia&#8217;s aspirations towards Somali territory are concerning. However, we remain steadfast on our path to peace,&#8221; Barre stated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The peace drive includes combating extremism, with a focus on dismantling the influence of the Al-Shabaab militant group. Barre called on Somali youth influenced by extremism to renounce violence and rejoin a peaceful society. &#8220;Our military efforts against Al-Shabaab are crucial for achieving enduring peace,&#8221; he noted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Barre urged all Somali sectors to contribute to peacebuilding and to refrain from actions that could destabilize the nation.
