{"id":10854,"date":"2022-09-01T22:33:57","date_gmt":"2022-09-01T22:33:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sooha.org\/en\/?p=10854"},"modified":"2022-09-14T09:40:37","modified_gmt":"2022-09-14T09:40:37","slug":"3-killed-in-mortar-attack-near-somali-presidential-palace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sooha.org\/en\/2022\/09\/01\/3-killed-in-mortar-attack-near-somali-presidential-palace\/","title":{"rendered":"3 killed in mortar attack near Somali presidential palace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MOGADISHU &#8212;\u00a0<\/strong>At least three people were killed and more than 11 wounded Thursday in the Somali capital in a mortar attack near the residence of the president, according to police.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ibrahim Ahmed, a security official in Mogadishu, told Anadolu Agency that the early morning attack killed women and children after several explosions hit residential areas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Police officer Abdi Hassan said that several shells landed in the Bond here and Abdiasis neighborhoods.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;We heard several explosions early morning on Thursday.
